Qualifications

• 2+ years as a surgical first assistant in general robotic surgery.
• Experience in bariatric surgery.
• Missouri state license or ability to obtain if relocating.
• NCCPA board certification; active BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Act as Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room.
• Position and drape the patient under surgeon guidance.
• Suturing and retracting tissue layers during surgery.
• Assist in intra-operative patient care with assigned duties.
• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities.
