Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is expanding its robotic program and seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join as a full-time robotic first-assist. The PA will support multispecialty robotic cases and operate under supervision of surgical leadership.

We require at least 2 years of operating room experience, with preference for 1 year in robotic surgery, and current NCCPA certification along with MA licensure and ongoing CME participation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Must be certified by NCCPA prior to start date.
• Massachusetts license/registration in good standing prior to start date.
• Maintain 100 hours of CME every two years.

Responsibilities

• Primarily manage adult surgical patients in the OR with faculty and staff.
• Directly assist in multispecialty robotic surgery as first assistant.
• No floor, clinic, or inpatient rounding duties in this role.
