Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a production teammate to operate and monitor robotic palletizers and forklifts in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

You will ensure pallets are prepared correctly, clear jams, and assist with product handling while adhering to GMP and HACCP standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to work rotating 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6am), and a practical ability to read and tally production data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing experience helpful; Food operations experience a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of GMPs, general safety rules and chemical right-to-know is a plus.
• Able to read, count and tally production information.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 6p-6a.

Responsibilities

• Oversee robotic palletizers and ensures products palletized correctly.
• Sets pallets for loading into robot.
• Monitors robotic palletizer to ensure uninterrupted operations including clearing jams and cleaning the equipment.
• Assists in putting away of product.
• Operates forklift to move empty pallets and fully-loaded pallets.
• Keep supervisor informed regarding actual versus planned production and downtime reasons.
• Provide maintenance requests to maintenance via form or paging system.
• Work in a safe manner by following all safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Follow GMP and HACCP requirements.
• Follow MSS.
• Responsible for reporting food safety or quality problems and assisting in corrective action.
• Complete all paperwork, charts, etc., in a timely and legible manner.
• Maintain general housekeeping; maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management/supervision.
