Job summary

BALEMASTER seeks a Robotic Welder Operator/Programmer to run and program an IGM robotic MIG welding system in a manufacturing setting. You will set up fixtures, adjust parameters, and troubleshoot to meet production and quality goals.

Experience in MIG welding or robotics is preferred; training opportunities exist to develop advanced robotic programming skills. This role involves manual handling, safety rules adherence, and teamwork across Engineering, Quality, and Production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor IGM robotic MIG welding equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Create, modify, and optimize robotic welding programs to meet production and quality requirements.
• Set up fixtures, tooling, and workpieces for robotic welding operations.
• Perform weld parameter adjustments, teach points, and troubleshoot programming issues.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on robotic welding equipment.
• Identify and correct welding defects and process issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve welding processes and productivity.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
