Truckingpeople in Austin is hiring safety-focused professionals to support autonomous vehicle operations. You will drive professionally and contribute to high-responsibility AV workflows in a structured environment.

Salary starts at $25.00 per hour with shifts Tuesday–Saturday or Friday–Monday, totaling 40 hours per week. Early, daytime, and evening schedules are available to fit preferred hours.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record for the past 36 months.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License (minimum 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate autonomous vehicles in real-world conditions.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor vehicle systems and provide real-time feedback.
• Accurately document performance data and observations.
• Remain alert, focused, and distraction-free at all times.

RIDESHARE DRIVERS (SPECIAL CONSIDERATION)

Rideshare-only experience will be considered ONLY IF you meet ALL of the following

• Driving experience is a plus, including Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, delivery, courier, or similar driving work
• Technical/tech-related work experience is a plus
• Full-time, high-volume weekly driving experience should be clearly demonstrated on the resume, including Uber or Lyft experience when applicable

• Reliable, professional, and accountable

Preferred (Not Required)

• Prior AV (Autonomous Vehicle) experience
• Defensive driving certification
• Technical or mechanical background
