Job summary

TRUCKING PEOPLE is seeking computer-savvy test drivers to support autonomous ride-hailing tests. You will ensure safety, prepare vehicles, and run software/hardware tests while representing the company to the public.

You’ll collaborate with teams across vision, infrastructure, and vehicle engineering and gain front-row exposure to the complexities of autonomous mobility. Day and night shifts help you balance hours and learn diverse operations.

Qualifications

• Basic vehicle knowledge required to perform checks and operate test vehicles.
• Proficient computer skills for software/hardware test tasks.
• Able to type 45 words per minute or faster.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.
• Excellent driving history with no criminal record; safety first.

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle operations and safety checks during tests.
• Drive 4-8 hours per day with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Perform basic software and hardware test tasks.
• Provide clear feedback to engineering and analytics teams.
• Assist with documentation and metrics related to vehicle readiness.
• Coordinate with multiple teams across CV, infra, and vehicle engineering.

Day and Night Shift Available

We are looking for Computer experienced test drivers for our on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company, to be at the forefront of turning the company's vision into reality.
In this role, you'll always ensure safety, maintain vehicle readiness, complete software and hardware tests, and represent our client's brand as an ambassador to the public. You'll also assist and interact with multiple teams across the company, from computer vision, infrastructure, and sound design to strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations.

We're looking for test drivers who are disciplined, team players. Working in this role will give you the opportunity to learn vehicle and personnel operations. You'll have a front-row seat to the operational complexities of realizing autonomous mobility and the chance to contribute to the future.

Hours:

• Day Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm
• Night Shift: 3:45pm-12:15am

Days:

• Tuesday-Saturday
• Sunday-Thursday

Day to Day Operations as a Commercial Driver:

• Support vehicle operations.
• Drive 4-8 hours a day with a priority on safety.
• Conduct basic software operation tasks.
• Assist with documentation and metrics.
• Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams.
• Support vehicle maintenance and logistics..
• Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness.

Requirements

• Basic vehicle knowledge to perform vehicle checks, ability to drive for long duration (6 hours in the car per day)
• Basic technology ability and computer skills
• Can type 45WPM
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent driving history and no criminal history
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience is a plus
• Military experience is a plus
