Source One Technical Solutions in Austin, TX seeks attentive Autonomous Vehicle Safety Drivers to support an established robotics and AV program. You will drive autonomous vehicles, collect critical data, and help advance safety standards on real-world testing routes.

The role requires sharp driving skills, excellent situational awareness, and clear reporting of findings. Shifts include AM and PM options, with strict safety and performance expectations for daily vehicle prep and debriefs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional driving experience.
• Valid TX Driver’s License and clean driving record with no DUIs or related offenses in the last 5 years.
• No more than 1 driving-violation point on license.
• Experience with GPS apps or workplace communication tools.
• Ability to anticipate hazardous situations and act quickly and safely.
• Thorough knowledge of local traffic regulations.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and drive on different roads.
• Takes ownership with a high level of responsibility.

• Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing to ensure operational safety.

• Submit detailed reports to support system advancements and operational improvements.
• Be prepared for the actions of other drivers and pedestrians as well as for unexpected events.
• Be alert and distraction free while in vehicles.

Source One is a staffing company and we’re currently looking for individuals to work as drivers for our client, an established robotics and autonomous vehicle (AV) company in Austin, TX.

We are seeking attentive and detail-oriented drivers to join our client’s team of Autonomous Vehicle Safety Drivers. In this role, you will be at the forefront of autonomous vehicle testing, contributing to the advancement of cutting‑edge technology while ensuring the highest safety standards. This position is ideal for those with excellent driving skills, a passion for innovation, and an ability to act swiftly and safely in potentially adverse driving situations.

Available schedules: AM and PM shift options.

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and comfortable driving on different types of roads
