Job summary

FANUC America Corporation is seeking a Robotic Application Engineer to spearhead the development, implementation, and growth of continuous process applications. You will collaborate with a skilled team of engineers to support sales and champion industry-leading automation solutions.

This role involves developing automation applications across spot welding, press-to-press transfer, contouring, sanding, assembly, material removal, milling, arc welding, and other manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in robotic automation applications or similar work.
• Experience in designing and building systems.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Inventor or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation applications across welding, contouring, sanding, assembly, and machining.
• Support new customer sales and applications.
• Create process studies and mockups with internal teams and customers.
• Perform hardware and software testing of new products.
• Develop plans for trade shows and product materials.
• Provide product/market insights to sustain competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with sales and systems groups to deliver the right automation solutions.
• Travel occasionally to support shows and on-site needs.
