Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Los Angeles is seeking a Readiness and Response Operator 2 (RR2) to join our client’s Fleet Operations team, supporting Robotaxi Service Operations and Vehicle Readiness. The candidate will conduct inspections, respond to recovery events, and assist with remote vehicle operation while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced environment involving logistics, fleet operations, hospitality, aviation, emergency response, or customer service.
• Strong technical aptitude with experience using laptops, mobile devices, software interfaces, and basic command-line or troubleshooting tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to safely navigate high-traffic environments.
• Proven ability to follow detailed procedures accurately while maintaining a strong customer-first mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily pre-service and post-service inspections to ensure Robotaxi fleet readiness, including vehicle, sensor, and systems verification.
• Respond to field recovery events, coordinate vehicle extractions, document incidents, and support vehicle transportation activities.
• Operate autonomous vehicles remotely when required for recovery, repositioning, or operational support.
• Provide professional rider assistance during recovery events, ensuring passenger safety and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems using internal software tools, perform firmware updates, and maintain vehicle cleanliness, charging, and operational readiness.
