Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Fabrication Technician IV (Robot Weld) for the 3rd shift at Hodges, SC. You will operate, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic welding systems, ensuring weld quality and safety. This role requires hands-on experience with robotic weld cells and real-time path adjustments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in robotic/automated welding. Wage is $22.83/hr plus $1 shift premium, with potential variable incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of robotic or automated welding experience.
• No visa sponsorship (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, H-1B, etc.).
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Hodges, SC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain robotic welding systems (6-axis robots, welding cells).
• Modify robot paths, touch-ups, and offsets to ensure weld quality.
• Perform basic robot programming and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with maintenance/engineering to resolve automation issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Use calipers and gauges to verify engineering standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and sustain 5S+ in the area.
• Report safety issues to team lead or supervisor.
