Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Troy, IL is hiring a Weld Technician for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). The role centers on reading blueprints and welding symbols, inspecting welds, and supporting a cross-functional team to ensure quality.

You’ll work with robotic welders and AutoMig equipment, with overtime potential and a wage progression reaching $27.40 per hour after 12 months. Benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months in a manufacturing environment.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Troy, IL; relocation not provided.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional weld team to maintain quality and throughput.
