Job summary

Dexory in Wallingford, UK, is seeking a reliable Driver to transport our robots to client sites and events across the UK and mainland Europe. The role requires towing a trailer and includes a company van and fuel card.

You will ensure safe transport, plan routes, and perform routine vehicle checks. When not driving, you will support warehouse operations and inventory management in a dynamic robotics environment.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in towing trailers safely and confidently.
• Valid CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder.
• Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
• Solid knowledge of UK road regulations, with the ability to adapt to European driving requirements where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Transport robots safely and efficiently from our warehouse in Verda Park to client sites, warehouses, exhibitions, and events across the UK and mainland Europe, and return them to base.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and potential disruptions.
• Operate company vehicles, including vans and trailers, ensuring full compliance with towing requirements.
• Take responsibility for vehicle upkeep, including routine maintenance, daily serviceability checks, and cleanliness.
• Support additional company transport needs, including inter-site deliveries, airport transfers, and station pick-ups
• Represent the company professionally during face-to-face interactions with clients and partners
• Assist with warehouse operations on non-driving days, including coordinating repairs, general upkeep, and facility organisation
• Manage stock and supplies for staff welfare, including arranging deliveries and maintaining inventory levels as directed
• Oversee basic maintenance and servicing of on-site equipment, such as beverage machines
• Work flexibly to meet business needs, including occasional extended driving hours and weekend work (e.g. Sunday travel for Monday events)
