Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Robot Operator for our Marietta, GA facility. This full-time role on the 3rd shift involves operating robotic palletizing equipment and coordinating palletizing activities to support production operations.

Responsibilities include preparing the palletizing area, staging materials, verifying labels, and releasing finished goods. Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with English literacy and basic math skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED plus 1–2 years in fast-paced manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and write in English and perform routine math.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accurate records.

  • Request needed materials from Utility or Line Supervisor.
  • Keep robot/carousel area clean and organized.
  • Operate forklift and manual floor jack as needed.
  • Complete positive release of finished goods pallets in the iMake system.

Job Description

About the Role: The Robot Operator position is responsible for operating robotic palletizing equipment and coordinating palletizing activities in the robot/carousel area to support production operations. This role ensures materials are staged, labels and pallets are verified accurately, finished goods are released properly, and the work area is maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner.

  • Prepares the palletizing area for daily work.
  • Ensures all materials needed for the day are ready and staged around the carousel area.
  • Requests needed materials from Utility or the Line Supervisor.
  • Keeps the robot/carousel area clean and organized.
  • Follows all safety, health, and company policies.
  • Initials, dates, and maintains company paperwork as required by GMP or the Quality Control department.
  • Verifies all iMake label information and ensures labels are correct, printed, readable, and placed on the correct pallets.
  • Uses a forklift and manual floor jack to support palletizing activities.
  • Qualifies as a backup Utility as needed.
  • Interprets pallet or load patterns from the computer.
  • Operates the stretch wrapper.
  • Completes positive release of finished goods pallets using the iMake computer system.
  • Operates robotic palletizing equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead or Line Supervisor.
Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. Overtime may be available, depending on the needs of the business.

The anticipated starting wage rate for this position is $18.30-$22.40 per hour.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent, plus 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read and write in English and perform routine math equations.
  • The ability to respond quickly and efficiently to problems or changes in production needs.
  • The ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to keep accurate and legible records.
  • Experience using the iMake computer system, or the ability to learn and use it effectively.
  • The ability to use a forklift and manual floor jack.
