Job Details: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing operating forklift on a daily basis in the Live Receiving Area.

Functions

• To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned

Description

Tasks related to the role include the following responsibilities.

Tasks

• Loading and unloading combos, skids, and moving product to the necessary location.
• Obtain a forklift license and be able to change battery as needed (training will be available).
• Maneuver pallet jack around tables and belts, continuously grip control handle of the jack, be aware of all obstacles in all areas of travel, and any other duties assigned by Manager.
• Complete various log sheets.
• Be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions.
• Require walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Location does not accept rehires. Must have 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application. Prefer 3 months of forklift operator experience.
