Job summary

HB-HQ is hiring a Roastery Assistant to support our stores and wholesale clients. The role involves order fulfillment, packaging coffee, preparing deliveries, cold brew production and coffee roasting. You will pick and stage orders, package coffee into 12oz bags, ½ lb, and 5 lb bags, and operate warehouse machinery.

The position requires a team player, attention to detail, and weekday availability. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs, have a valid driver’s license, and be committed to

Responsibilities

• Picking and staging orders for stores and wholesale customers efficiently and accurately.
• Packaging coffee into 12oz retail bags, ½ lb bags and 5 lb bags.
• Brewing and packaging cold brew coffee.
• Production roasting.
• Knowing how to fully operate all machinery in the warehouse: forklift, weigh and fill, scales, bulk grinder, heat sealers, etc.
• Ensuring that the warehouse is cleaned and organized at the end of every shift.
• Understanding organic processor and handler standards and compliance.
• Assisting with deliveries as needed.
• Assisting with ecommerce orders as needed.
