Job summary

Joe Coffee is seeking a Part-Time Production Assistant in Long Island City, NY. You will label and package coffee accurately, operate packaging equipment, and prepare orders for delivery while keeping the roasting space organized.

As a driver, you will also pickup and deliver cold brew between our Brooklyn storage and LIC facility, ensuring timely and safe transport. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and with the production team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Google Docs, Microsoft Office) preferred but not required.
• Experience in coffee or similar packaging/production roles.
• Experience driving in NYC.
• Ability to focus on small details within a task without interaction or supervision.
• Ability to shift between working collaboratively and working independently.
• Patient and kind with yourself and your teammates.
• Safety (equipment, food) and/or efficiency training preferred but not required (forklift, OSHA compliance, HACCP, etc).
• Valid Driver License

Part-Time Production Assistant

Job Summary

As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for accurate labeling, packaging of coffee, equipment operation, packing for delivery, and organization of the roasting space. As a driver, you will be responsible for pickup and delivery of cold brew products between our off-site cold storage location in Brooklyn and our roasting space in Long Island City.
