Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Roaster Operator to join the Process Operations team in Carlin, NV. You will report to a Roaster Operations Supervisor and monitor conveyors, scrubbers, lube systems, and related equipment to ensure safe and efficient roasting operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of Roaster experience, a strong safety record, and the ability to communicate clearly with team members. You will work a rotating schedule of nights and days, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic

Qualifications

• Three to five years of Roaster experience preferred.
• Proven safety and attendance record required.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect start and stop conveyors, scrubbers, air slides, bucket elevators, blowers, feeders, and fans for Roaster operation.
• Check feed production samples for required size and inspect lube systems and grates.
• Control addition of reagents, percent solids, and pH.
• Operate thickener and monitor floc and coagulant usage.
• Troubleshoot and clean scale buildup in launders and pipes.
• Monitor temperature and chemistry of cooling tower.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
