Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Roaster Operations Frontline Supervisor at the Goldstrike operation. You will supervise and develop the roaster operations crew and collaborate with the site team to optimize safety and productivity.

The role requires strong leadership, training, and the ability to manage rotating shifts, with responsibilities including performance evaluations and updating training records, while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven safety record and ability to support safety, environmental, and production goals.
• Five years process operations experience.
• Ability to supervise multiple employees at once.
• Ability to facilitate crew lineouts and safety meetings.
• Ability to follow company policies and hold others accountable.
• Experience with computer operations preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position.
• Rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, support, and professionally develop process operations crew.
• Provide training and mentoring for operators.
• Develop a safe, productive, and high-performing crew while collaborating with the site team.
• Conduct individual employee evaluations.
• Update employee training records and status upgrades.
• Establish and refine operating strategies and procedures to optimize equipment use.
• Perform SAP responsibilities: OTL entry/approval, MSS, work requests, work orders, move orders, LMS.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Roaster Operations Frontline Supervisor at our Goldstrike operation. The successful candidate will work directly with the Roaster Operations team in supervising, supporting, and developing the process operations crews. Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise, support, and professionally develop process operations crew
• Provide training and mentoring for operators
• Develop a safe, productive, and high-performing crew while working collaboratively within the framework of the site team and company enterprise
• Conduct individual employee evaluations
• Update employee training records and status upgrades
• Establish and refine operating strategies and procedures to ensure equipment is utilized to its optimum extent
• Perform SAPmedium-user duties including: OTL (Oracle Time Labor) entry and approval, MSS (Manager Self Service), work requests, work orders, move orders, LMS (Learning Management System)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proven safety record and ability to support work group in achievements of safety, environmental, and production goals required
• Five (5) years process operations experience required
• Ability to supervise numerous employees at once required
• Ability to facilitate crew lineouts, safety meeting etc. required
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures and to hold fellow employees/contractors accountable to follow company policies and procedures required
• Experience with computer operations preferred
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position requiredProven ability to perform essential function of the position required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
