Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Roaster Maintenance Technician at the Goldstrike operation. You will manage, coach, and mentor a maintenance team while ensuring safe, reliable operation of Roaster processing equipment.

The role emphasizes repairing processing equipment, reading blueprints, troubleshooting pumps and crushers, welding, fabrication, and maintaining high safety standards. This position offers growth within a dynamic, large-scale mining operation.

Qualifications

Four years as a journeyman in industrial maintenance or two years maintenance school (certificate) preferred.
Experience operating crushing/processing equipment including jaw, gyratory and cone crushers, and conveyors preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings preferred.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, primary crushers, Omnicones and conveyors preferred.
Troubleshoot and rebuild gearboxes and pumps including centrifugal and positive displacement preferred.
Experience in TIG and MIG welding stainless steel and titanium pipe preferred.
Millwright skills including hydraulic systems and alignments preferred.
Fabrication, machinist and high-pressure welding skills preferred.
Excellent safety and attendance record required.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required.

Responsibilities

Repair and rebuild processing equipment in the Roaster area including pumps, piping and vessels; perform preventative and predictive maintenance routes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
