Job summary

Consolidated Resource, LLC seeks a Traffic Control Technician to safely set up and remove temporary traffic control devices and manage work zones across Colorado. You will implement TCPs per MUTCD and CDOT standards, coordinate with crews, and direct traffic as required at multiple field sites.

Candidates should be prepared for travel to various Front Range, mountain, and rural locations, maintain logs, and uphold safety protocols while supporting construction, maintenance, and emergency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 18+ years old for Colorado Flagger certification.
• Ability to obtain/maintain CDOT-approved Colorado Flagger Certification within a set period.
• Knowledge of MUTCD, Colorado standards, and traffic-control plans.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform outdoor work in variable weather.
• Background checks and pre-employment screenings including DOT considerations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and dismantle traffic control devices and work zones.
• Implement TCPs for lane closures, detours, and flagging operations.
• Direct traffic as needed using proper signaling in CDOT/MUTCD standards.
• Transport, load, unload, and stage materials and equipment to sites.
• Inspect work zones, maintain logs, and report safety concerns.
• Coordinate with supervisors, crews, law enforcement, and the public.
• Maintain PPE and promote a strong safety culture.
• Assist with inventory and minor repairs of devices.
• Respond to emergency or after-hours traffic-control calls.
