Job summary

Pennsy Supply Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Tack Truck Driver to operate a specialized vehicle for hauling tack oil and related materials used in road construction.

You will follow safety rules, perform pre-shift inspections, and coordinate with paving crews to ensure even distribution and proper flow.

Candidates should have a High school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of field experience, and a valid CDL Class B license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with clean MVR and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations.
• Able to work various shifts and locations, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tack truck to transport tack oil and materials for road construction.
• Adhere to safety rules under MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Conduct daily area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA's, and related safety tasks.
• Adjust spray bar width and flow to achieve required coverage.
• Coordinate with paving machine operator to ensure proper distribution of material.
• Monitor equipment gauges and maintain lubrication as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
