We are looking for a Roadway Resident Engineer – Night Shift to join our growing Engineering team and support transportation infrastructure projects throughout Illinois.
This is an opportunity for an civil engineer with roadway experience who enjoys being hands‑on in the field, leading coordination efforts, solving construction challenges, and ensuring projects are delivered with quality and integrity.
As the Resident Engineer, you will serve as the owner’s representative overseeing roadway construction activities, contractor coordination, project documentation, and compliance with IDOT standards.
You will:
IDOT certifications, EIT certification, Resident Engineer experience, or experience with electronic construction management systems.
This position supports night shift construction operations and requires regular overnight work hours.
$90,000 – $115,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
