Job summary

West Virginia Paving, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician in Dunbar, WV to support roadway construction operations. You will test asphalt, soil, concrete and aggregates to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily/weekly schedules, maintaining safety standards, submitting documentation, and collaborating with the Quality Control Manager to meet production targets. High school diploma preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills with Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work outdoors.
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management.

Responsibilities

• Test asphalt, soil, concrete, and aggregates to ensure specs.
• Evaluate test results and address problems when they arise.
• Prepare and submit proper documentation to Quality Control personnel.
