Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Technician 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title).
• Two years of experience in the analysis, development and implementation of methods and techniques in a roadway maintenance management system and an Associate's Degree in related fields.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or civil engineering related discipline; or any equivalent combination.
• Applicant must be within three months of graduation to meet educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review annual work plan progress, analyze reports, and recommend adjustments to meet changing priorities.
• Monitor funding levels, prepare budget reviews, and guide decisions on shifting resources as needed.
• Direct the work of assigned staff, evaluate performance, approve leave, and resolve workplace issues.
• Estimate and order needed materials to keep operations running smoothly.
• Oversee storage, tracking, and issuing of materials with proper documentation and compliance.
• Manage contracts, reimbursable programs, environmental responsibilities, and public service initiatives.
