This position oversees planning, budgeting, materials management, and program coordination to ensure county roadway operations run efficiently. As a Roadway Programs Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:
- Work Plan Coordination: Coordinate and track the Annual Work Plan to align activities with county priorities
- Budget Oversight: Monitor financial resources and recommend program budget adjustments when needed
- Material Planning: Estimate and prepare material requirements to support uninterrupted county operations
- Inventory Management: Direct the organization, monitoring, and review of inventory records to maintain accurate stock levels
- Program Administration: Oversee maintenance programs, agreements, and purchasing activities to support county operations
- Operational Review: Inspect work and analyze system data to ensure program goals and standards are met

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) eligible.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Honesdale. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Specialist or Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor; or
- Three years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and an associate's degree in a field of business administration, computer science, highway engineering technology or closely related program; or
- One year of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or civil engineering related discipline;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- The promotion without examination requirements are issued in accordance with merit system employment regulations.
- Meritorious service is defined as (a) the absence of any discipline above the level of written reprimand during the 12 months preceding the closing date of the posting, and (b) the last regular or probationary performance evaluation showing an overall rating of satisfactory or higher.
