Job summary

AECOM is hiring a Roadway Program Manager in Atlanta to lead complex transportation programs across Georgia. You will provide strategic oversight of roadway design contracts, manage scope, schedule and budget, and mentor project managers.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, fostering client relationships, and supporting business development. This is a hybrid-work position with GDOT project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and 8+ years of related experience.
• Georgia Professional Engineer license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership and oversight for roadway design contracts and transportation programs.
• Serve as primary client contact to foster trusted relationships and support long-term objectives.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and performance across multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery.
• Mentor project managers and technical staff.
• Support business development, including capture planning and proposals.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and manage change.
• Drive quality management and continuous improvement across the program.
• Collaborate with leadership to align execution with strategic goals.
