Job summary

Hargrove seeks an experienced roadway permitting professional to manage end-to-end permitting for power innovation projects, coordinating across engineering, environmental and legal teams. The role includes drafting strategies, negotiating RU/Mou agreements, and tracking permit conditions through construction closeout.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, PE registration preferred, and 5+ years of related experience in civil/structural engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes roadway/railroad permitting strategies for power innovation projects, aligning schedule, constructability, and compliance needs.
• Plans contractor haul routes and access logistics, incorporating weight-restricted roads/bridges and local roadway constraints.
• Interfaces with local and state agencies (towns, boroughs, townships, cities, counties, and state DOTs) to align traffic engineering, public safety, roadway conditions and maintenance.
