Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate RUAs, ROEs, and railroad crossing agreements.
• Strong knowledge of roadway construction methods and restoration standards.
• Experience coordinating with local/state agencies and railroad representatives; comfortable presenting at public meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develops roadway/railroad permitting strategies aligning schedule, constructability, and compliance.
• Coordinates with engineers, environmental permit managers and consultants to locate safe crossings and access points.
• Plans contractor haul routes and access logistics considering weight-restricted roads and local constraints.
• Interfaces with towns, cities and state DOTs to align traffic engineering and safety requirements.
