Job summary

BravoTECH seeks a Roadway Permitting Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA for an onsite contract role (18+ months). You will lead end-to-end roadway permitting, negotiate RU/ROE agreements, and coordinate with engineering, environmental, and legal teams to ensure safe, compliant execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of environmental experience, with strong knowledge of traffic engineering, MOT, and permit compliance. Onsite work and stakeholder coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5 years of environmental experience.
• Experience negotiating RUAs, ROEs, and railroad crossing agreements preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roadway/railway construction and restoration standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops roadway/railroad permitting strategies aligned with schedule and compliance.
• Coordinates with engineering, environmental, and legal teams and consultants.
• Plans haul routes and access logistics considering weight restrictions.
• Interfaces with local/state agencies to align traffic engineering and maintenance.
