Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to run asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, and related gear on milling and paving sites. You will ensure safe operation and perform basic maintenance to keep machines in good condition.

The role requires 2 years of equipment operating experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with field crews. Travel and overtime during peak milling season are possible.

Qualifications

• GED / HS Diploma a plus.
• 2 yrs of equipment operating experience is a necessity.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss plans and goals with field manager and determine safe, productive, on-time methods.
• Operate equipment with priority on safety for all workers.
• Perform equipment maintenance: cleaning, greasing, checking fluids.
• Communicate clearly with crew to achieve daily goals.
