Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a Construction Equipment Operator to handle asphalt pavers, rollers, transfer vehicles, milling machines, back hoes and skid steers on milling and paving projects.

You will ensure safe operation and perform routine maintenance while supporting the team. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the field manager, performing physical duties, and maintaining equipment to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• GED / HS Diploma is a plus.
• 2 yrs of equipment operating experience is a necessity.
• Related work experience is a necessity.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, transfer vehicles, milling machines, back hoes and skid steers in milling and paving operations.
• Discuss plans and goals with field manager to complete work safely, efficiently and on time.
• Perform physical duties related to safe operation and upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain equipment by cleaning, greasing and checking fluid levels.
• Communicate clearly with crew to achieve daily targets.
