Qualifications

• GED / HS Diploma acceptable.
• 2 years equipment operating experience required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates one or more types of construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines and related machinery safely.
• Discusses plans with field manager and determines the best method to complete work safely and on time.
• Performs equipment maintenance such as cleaning, greasing and checking fluid levels.
• Maintains safety for self and others and communicates clearly with crew members.
• Travel and overtime may be required during milling and paving season.
