Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a skilled equipment operator to support milling and paving operations at our Virginia sites. You will run asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines and related gear, ensuring safe, efficient work and routine maintenance.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow plans with the field manager, strong communication with the crew, and a valid driver’s license. Overnight travel may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma preferred.
• At least 2 years of equipment operating experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Discusses plans and goals for the day with the field manager and determines best method to complete work safely and on time.
• Operates equipment and performs basic maintenance such as cleaning and greasing.
• Operates with priority of safety for all workers on site.
• Communicates clearly with crew to meet daily goals.
