Job summary

Consor in Dallas, TX seeks a Roadway Design Engineer to plan, design, and deliver transportation infrastructure under guidance of senior engineers. You'll contribute to roadway, highway, and multimodal projects from concept through final design, developing plans, specifications, and calculations.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, PE license, 4–10+ years TxDOT experience, and proficiency in MicroStation ORD, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering is required.
• PE license is required; TxDOT experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microstation ORD, AutoCAD and Civil3D; proposal writing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review roadway design plans and reports for projects of varying complexity.
• Apply design standards to ensure compliant and constructible deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated transportation solutions.
• Support bidding, RFIs, and construction phase activities.
