Consor seeks a Roadway Design Engineer to support planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects. You will contribute to geometric layouts, roadway alignments, drainage coordination, and construction documentation under senior engineers and PMs. Hybrid work between office and field is expected.

The role emphasizes applying standards, preparing plans, reports, and calculations, with growth toward technical leadership in the transportation practice.

Qualificações

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4–10+ years of transportation engineering experience with TxDOT projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microstation ORD, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
• Proposal writing/marketing experience is a plus.
• Hybrid office/field environment with standard office equipment.
• May involve exposure to weather, noise, and other site conditions.
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare roadway, highway, and multimodal design plans and reports.
• Apply design standards to ensure accurate, compliant deliverables.
• Develop roadway geometry, horizontal/vertical alignment, and corridor modeling.
• Develop construction plans, estimates, and quantity/cost calculations.
• Coordinate with drainage, traffic, structures, utilities, environmental, and survey teams.
• Assist with meetings, presentations, and technical correspondence.
• Support QA/QC by reviewing plans and calculations.
• Assist in RFIs, field condition reviews, and design issue resolution during construction.
