Job summary

Atlas is a trusted leader in environmental and infrastructure consulting services with offices across the US. We are seeking a CEI Level 1 Inspector to document construction projects, assist with reports, and support inspection activities to ensure compliance and quality of work.

You will report to the Senior Inspector or Project Manager in a dynamic, client- and community-focused environment. Qualified candidates have experience in construction inspection or surveying, or highway materials

Qualifications

• Experience in construction inspection, surveying or highway materials testing and inspection.
• Certification in Asphalt Level I Laboratory Technician field.
• Certification: Concrete Technician (ACI/ALDOT).
• Certification: Roadway HMA Pavement Technician.
• Certification: Work Zone Safety.
• Certification: Radiation Safety Technician.

Responsibilities

• Document construction projects and inspect activities to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
• Complete daily contractor reports detailing labor and equipment and describe work performed and conversations with contractor.
• Assist with office tasks such as plotting cross-sections and calculating earthwork quantities.
• Report to the Senior Inspector and/or Project Manager.
