Atlas is seeking a CEI Level 2 Inspector to join our Birmingham, AL team. This skilled sub-professional position involves documenting construction activity, verifying compliance with plans and specifications, and supporting field and office tasks.

You will prepare daily reports of labor and equipment, assist with plotting cross-sections and earthwork calculations, and report to the Senior Inspector or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in construction inspection, surveying or highway materials testing and inspection.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document daily reports detailing labor and equipment used by the contractor, including conversations with the contractor.
• Plot cross-sections and compute earthwork quantities for office work.
• Report to Senior Inspector and/or Project Manager.
