Job summary

Ferrovial, through Webber, is seeking a Roadway Maintenance Technician to operate a range of heavy equipment and perform essential highway maintenance duties. The role involves supervising others at times and guiding less experienced staff in equipment operation and roadway upkeep.

Candidate should have a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and 1–3+ years of roadway maintenance experience, with basic automotive knowledge and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is preferred.
• 1–3+ years of roadway maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with construction vehicles and snow removal preferred.
• Basic automotive mechanics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractors, mowers, sweepers, bucket trucks, TMAs, and snowplows.
• Perform daily assignments using gas or hand tools.
• Inspect equipment, make minor repairs, lubricate, and assist in repairs.
• Perform skilled maintenance such as traffic control, pavement repair, landscaping, painting, relamping, guardrail and barrier repairs, and be on-call after hours for emergency maintenance service.
• Respond to traffic incidents, provide roadside assistance, and be on-call after hours for emergency incident response.
• Perform miscellaneous building maintenance as required.
• Any other job duties as assigned.
