Qualifications

• CDL permit required at hire.
• Class A CDL and endorsements due within 5 months.
• DOT Clearinghouse check completed.
• Pre-employment physical and ongoing drug/alcohol testing.
• May need pesticide/herbicide certifications.

Responsibilities

• Mow and cut brush along roadways.
• Dispose of litter and debris.
• Repair roadside waterways.
• Operate snow equipment.
• Grade and pave projects.
• Assist paint and bridge crews.
• Support traffic control during maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on DOT equipment and vehicles.
• Use DOT devices and software.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
