Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate and service highway maintenance equipment identified for Caltrans Landscape or Highway Maintenance Worker.
• Operate vehicles requiring a Class C driver's license including light trucks, automobiles, highway maintenance, bridge maintenance, emergency service, construction, or landscape equipment.
• Perform labor-intensive maintenance work for highway, structures, safety rest areas, and related duties as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of safety training standards and comply with departmental training and safe work practices.
