Job summary

Cintra is seeking a Roadway Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain a variety of highway equipment and facilities along I-66. This role requires CDL Class B with air brakes and 1–3+ years in roadway maintenance, traffic control, and related operations.

The candidate will support after-hours calls, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating TMAs, snow plows, and other gear; performing inspections, minor repairs, and general building maintenance;

Qualifications

• Teamwork in a fast-paced field environment.
• Strong communication skills for coordination and safety.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems under time pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic PC software.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles and heavy equipment such as tractors, mowers, sweepers, bucket trucks, TMAs, and snow plows.
• Inspects equipment for proper operation and performs minor repairs.
• Performs pavement, lighting, guardrail and barrier maintenance; supports after-hours emergency work.
• Responds to traffic incidents and provides roadside assistance as needed.
• Performs building maintenance and other duties as assigned.
