Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks in the Northern Virginia and DC area. The role requires compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

The position offers a 17–21 USD/hour wage, a day shift with on-call and night flexibility, and comprehensive benefits with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Background checks including criminal, driving and drug testing will be conducted.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations is essential.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing manual labor.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Clean driving record and successful background fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team on highway maintenance tasks.
• Must be flexible and available for on-call and night shifts.
• Perform lighting, sign, guardrail, bridge repair and related maintenance.
• Operate heavy equipment and participate in road patrols and incident response.
