Ferrovial’s Webber unit is hiring a Roadway Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair highways and related assets. You will perform duties from pothole filling to sign and lighting upkeep, respond to incidents, and operate vehicles and equipment across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of work experience in infrastructure, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
• CDL Class A is preferred.
• TTC certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• NIMS training must be completed within the first month of hire.
• Must be available to respond to traffic incidents within contract timeframes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain highways and medians, including litter removal and surface repairs.
• Repair roadways by filling potholes, striping, and installing reflectors.
• Maintain road signs, guardrails, fencing, and lighting.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites with large trucks and trailers.
• Set up safe MOT and TTC zones with traffic control devices.
• Assist law enforcement with traffic incidents.
• Work from heights in bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial platforms.
• Respond to emergency calls during rotations and overtime.
