Qualifications

• Knowledge of typical construction measuring tools and safety techniques.
• Skilled in operating hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand job-related materials and fill out reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervises inmate crew performing maintenance activities.
• Operates backhoe, tractors with attachments, crew cabs, and dump truck.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and minor maintenance on vehicles/equipment.
• Performs road/bridge maintenance and temporary traffic control.
• Performs carpentry, masonry, painting and signage assembly.
