Qualifications

• A Class E driver's license is required at time of hire.
• CDL Class B Instructional Permit required within 60 days of appointment.
• Obtain CDL Class B license with air brakes within 10 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and mechanized equipment including backhoe and dump trucks.
• Perform pre-trip inspection and minor maintenance on vehicles.
• Maintain bridges and roadways with hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools.
• Perform Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic).
• Read and fill out reports and forms; develop working relationships with others.
