Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of vehicles and mechanized equipment including backhoe, tractors with attachments, crew cabs, and dump trucks; performs pre-trip inspections and minor maintenance; cleans and washes equipment.
• Uses hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools to maintain bridges and roadways; performs manual labor at an intermediate level with minimal supervision.
• Performs rough carpentry, masonry, painting, and assists in erection of highway signs; conducts Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic).
