Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians to perform highway maintenance tasks across all of Bexar County in Texas. The project yard is located in Adkins, TX.

The role includes debris removal, sign and guardrail repair, concrete work, tree and brush removal, pothole repair and heavy equipment operation. Candidates must be flexible for on-call and night shifts and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record is essential.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions.
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job.
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology.
• Ability to use smart phone and applications.
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule.
• Ability to work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate hand/power tools.
