Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Roadway Maintenance Technician in Buda, TX to work outdoors on highways and drainage systems, joining a crew dedicated to public safety.

The role involves operating equipment, repairing guardrails and signs, filling potholes, and managing traffic control. CDL A/B and MOT certifications are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required. Apply to contribute to safe, reliable roadways.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• CDL A or CDL B License is preferred.
• Guardrail repair or installation experience is a plus.
• MOT/Traffic Control certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway maintenance and emergency response on active highways and roadways.
• Install, repair, and replace guardrail, signs, delineators and other safety devices.
• Repair potholes and pavement using asphalt and concrete materials.
• Clean ditches, culverts, and drainage systems.
• Set up traffic control devices and close lanes to protect work zones.
• Respond to emergencies, severe weather, and snow/ice events.
• Operate equipment and document work using smartphones and apps.
