Job summary

Qualifications

• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Must obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing and walking on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Repair potholes and base surface failures on roadway using hand tools to level asphalt.
• Flag traffic to ensure safety of workers, equipment, and the public during road repairs.
• Operate a front end loader to load cold mix asphalt for pothole patching.
• Assist in the removal of debris, ice and snow during inclement weather.
• Assist in emergency situations as required.
