Job summary

The State of Missouri, through MoDOT, seeks a maintenance worker at Gray Summit Maintenance Facility to perform routine, entry-level duties under supervision. This CAREER-LADDER position offers opportunities for advancement as skills and experience grow.

Responsibilities include highway and facility maintenance, traffic control, and operating vehicles and equipment. Overtime and night shifts may be required; CDL requirements apply after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• CDL written exam with tanker endorsement and driving portion requirements within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems, including pothole filling, traffic control setup, and debris removal.
• Maintain and repair state highway facilities, signs, guardrails, and equipment.

Education

High School Diploma or GED/HiSET

CDL Class B with tanker endorsement (preferred)
